Principal Science/Engineering Advisor

Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a candidate to provide program management and technical advisory support. The successful candidate will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in managing and developing programs in high-risk, high-reward research and development (R&D) projects. A key element of this role is proactive communication, both written and oral, with key stakeholders including performers, supporting organizations, military transition partners, and international collaborators. The candidate is expected to function as part of a strongly collaborative scientific and technical team, but also to act independently to complete time-critical tasks. The candidate must be comfortable in working at security levels across the spectrum from unclassified open discussion potentially with foreign nationals to collateral classified programs with validated higher levels of need-to-know.
