About the Company

Patil-I-Labs is the Research and Development (R&D) centre of Patil Group, created to spearhead innovation in intelligent systems and digital transformation technologies for the railway and allied sectors. Located in Bangalore, Patil-I-Labs is designed to complement Patil Group’s manufacturing and track engineering capabilities by developing next-generation products in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Machine Vision.



About the Role



Lead design, development, deployment, and commissioning of AI/ML/CV-based products.



Responsibilities



  • Guide transfer learning and fine-tuning of deep learning models for real-world applications
  • Expertise in image pre-processing, augmentation, and classical image processing techniques
  • Manage end-to-end AI/ML development lifecycles ensuring performance and timely delivery
  • Mentor engineering teams and foster collaboration and continuous innovation
  • Drive process improvements for system reliability and model efficiency
  • Stay updated on AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks for integration
  • Proven experience leading AI/ML projects and cross-functional teams
  • Strong in system architecture, AI/ML development, and hardware integration
  • Proficient in major programming languages and AI/ML frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of image analysis, camera systems, optics, and LiDAR
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and industry standards
  • Experienced with GitHub, Bitbucket, and version control systems
  • Knowledgeable in cloud/edge/GPU hardware, networking, and communication protocols
  • Strong foundation in algorithms, mathematics, and optimization


Qualifications



  • BE, BTech, ME, MTech, M.Sc., Ph.D. (relevant academic background in AI/ML and computer vision)
