**Position Summary...**
We are seeking a GenAI-experienced Software Engineer with deep expertise in full-stack application development, enterprise-scale architecture, Large Language Model (LLM)-generated code, and the use of LLMs in agentic solutions.
The primary mission of this role is to design and build automations that measure, report on, and suggest improvements to Operational Excellence (OE) and Engineering Excellence (EE) across Sam’s Club’s Merchandising and AI Labs (SCMAL) applications, logged incidents, and engineering teams.
Automations will monitor team and application compliance with OE/EE standards and with required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response times and implementation timelines. Solutions will leverage GenAI coding assistants and modern agentic AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Model Context Protocol (MCP). New AI technologies may also be evaluated for use across SCMAL.
