Job Description

As a Principal Engineer, you’ll have a strategic part of your role working with cross functional teams to influence the technical direction of the solution, while leveraging modern technology to design and execute critical product solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the technical vision and strategy. Drive technical direction and influence leadership at a program and enterprise level - making informed decisions about technologies, tools, and best practices to get the job done.
  • Design and build enterprise-wide solutions. Establish technical standards and champion new technological advancements.
  • Perform full life cycle application development, including researching available technical options for features, providing guidance and feedback on the findings and building proof of concepts to confirm the best approach.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code follows documented standards and best practices. Ensure for the quality and state of the software delivery pipeline and guide team to improve it.
  • Work with Solution and Enterprise Architects in the design, review, and implementation of new architectural solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, guiding them in best practices and ensuring high-quality code.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of .NET software development experience building web-based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and key stakeholders at varying levels within the organization.
  • Proficiency in modern software engineering best practices, including unit testing , CI/CD pipelines, DevOps , microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Strong design and architecture mindset, with experience designing scalable, high-performance, and secure enterprise applications in Azure .
