**Overview**
With Microsoft 365 Copilot, customers are expecting best in class AI tools to improve their productivity. The Copilot Pages and Notebooks team is seeking to hire a Principal Engineer to lead performance initiatives and define the architecture for our web applications.
As a **Principal Software Engineer** in the Copilot Pages and Notebooks team you will be responsible for making changes to ensure we have scalable, reliable, low latency experiences for our customers. This engineer will be expected to be the performance expert on the broader team. Responsibilities include reviewing the design of new features for performance as well as proactively identifying and addressing key performance bottlenecks within the product.
