Capstone is partnering with a  specialist engineering consultancy  known for delivering  bespoke engineering solutions  across the  heavy industrial and material handling equipment  space. With long-term vision and exciting projects in horizon this role offers  stability, technical challenge, and long-term opportunity  for a driven engineer.

This is Lead  Structural Engineer position , ideal for someone who wants to  own complex engineering scopes  while remaining  hands-on and technically focused . Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to  build long-term capability , shape how work is delivered, and potentially  develop your own specialist department , without stepping away from technical engineering.

The Role

  • Lead the  structural design and analysis  of bespoke shiploaders and bulk material handling equipment projects
  • Work across complex brownfield projects where each solution is custom-engineered
  • Take ownership of technical delivery on assigned projects
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines
  • Provide technical input through design, fabrication, and site phases

Your Background

  • Degree-qualified Structural Engineer
  • Experience in  material handling equipment, shiploaders, or maritime structures
  • Strong understanding of  steel structures, fatigue, and dynamic loading
  • Proficiency with  STAAD.Pro, ANSYS , or similar analysis tools
  • Confident working independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
