The Under the Roof Technology (UTRT) organization builds and owns the technology that powers grocery operations across all Amazon grocery formats—including Whole Foods, grocery fulfillment centers, quick commerce facilities, and same-day fulfillment centers. Our technology spans the complete operational lifecycle: from receiving and inventory management to cycle counting (ICQA), outbound fulfillment, robotics automation, food production, and foundational technologies that keep our sites running seamlessly.
