This is a Principal Engineer/ Lead Architect role focused on completely redesigning a Legacy Credit & Collections Systems into a modern, event‑driven Architecture using Java, Azure Service Bus, and Kafka.

They want someone who isn't just a coder — but someone who can:

• Lead architectural direction
• Build frameworks and standards
• Mentor teams
• Create the building blocks of their future platform
• A deep Java expert
• Very strong in distributed systems
• Hands-on with Azure Service Bus (topics, queues, DLQ, sessions)
• Experienced with Kafka (partitions, schema registry, replay)
• Someone who has built high-throughput, resilient, event-driven systems
• Someone who understands idempotency, transactional outbox, and exactly-once‑ish delivery
• A strong engineering mentor and leader
• An architect who can also write production code
