Job Description

  • Check digital file at end of each stage during production following SGS procedures – i.e. artwork, technical drawing, color separation, etc.;
  • Ensure brief mentioned in MySGS system or designated media(s) has been applied to the output correctly;
  • Follow the client’s and SGS processes strictly;
  • Clarify with the corresponding client service representative when the instruction mentioned in the brief is not clear and concise;
  • Log each checked job in the QC Log Sheet;
  • Log each job in MySGS;
  • Supervise and coach the PP/PA team members to ensure they are capable to work correctly based on standards/procedure;
  • Escalate either equipment or job specific issues to the Quality Control Lead;
  • Report to Senior Quality Control or designated staff when procedures are not being followed or when an abnormal situation arises, which cannot be resolved by his/her own self.
