Overview
We are now seeking a Circuit Board Draftsperson to join our team, on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- PWB Layout & Routing;
- Creation of all PWB related documentation for prototyping, manufacture and assembly;
- Creation and maintenance of non PWB related documentation used elsewhere in the organization such as family trees, block diagrams, rack schematics and other customer required diagrams.
Qualifications
- A working knowledge of Altium (PCB Design Tool);
- High School and two-year electronics technologist course (TechNova) and/or equivalent PWB design experience;
- A working knowledge of industry and company practices;
- Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently;
- Proven problem solving skills;
- Communication skills;
- Basic electrical course (NSIT), CAD Drafting course (NSCC) would be assets.
