Role Purpose
To provide expert advice and end-to-end case management for the organisation’s integrity and information frameworks. A primary focus of this role is ensuring privacy-by-design through the conduct of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), managing legislative compliance under the Information Privacy (IP) Act, and fostering an ethical culture.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Privacy & Information Compliance
- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA): Lead the research, analysis, and completion of PIAs for new projects, systems, and processes to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Legislative Case Management: Manage applications and statutory obligations under the Information Privacy (IP) Act, Right to Information (RTI) Act, and Evidence Act.
- Decision Making: Exercise delegated authority to make determinations on the release of information and privacy matters.
