About the role
We are seeking a senior lawyer with experience in data governance and privacy law to join our Commonwealth Government client. The successful candidate will focus on providing high quality legal advice on data governance, privacy, secrecy provisions, and the lawful use and disclosure of information under Commonwealth legislation.

An initial 6-month labour hire contract is on offer with possibility of a 6-month extension, commencing as soon as possible.

This role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and candidates based in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne are preferred. However, other locations or remote/flexible working arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note: only Australian citizens with the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role; however, an existing clearance will be highly regarded....
