Reporting To: Senior Relationship Manager / Private Banker

Function: Private Banking / Wealth Management


Key Responsibilities

Client & Relationship Support

  • Support the Senior Banker in day-to-day management of assigned UHNI client portfolios.
  • Prepare client meeting materials including portfolio reviews, performance reports, and investment proposals.
  • Coordinate post-meeting follow-ups and ensure timely closure of client requests and action items.
  • Act as a point of contact for routine client queries and service-related requests.

Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Support prospecting and acquisition of new clients through data analysis, market mapping, and referral tracking.
  • Assist in preparation of pitch decks, product notes, and customized investment solutions for prospects.
  • Track pipeline activity and support conversion of leads into active clients.
  • Help identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across investment and lending solutions.

Portfolio Analytics & Investment Support

  • Prepare and analyze client portfolio reports covering asset allocation, performance, risk metrics, and concentration analysis.
  • Support portfolio rebalancing and implementation of investment strategies in coordination with advisory and execution teams.
  • Track investment performance versus benchmarks and prepare periodic MIS and dashboards.
  • Support the Senior Banker with data-driven insights for client discussions and investment reviews.

Execution & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams such as investment advisory, product, research, operations, and compliance to ensure seamless execution of client transactions.
  • Monitor trade execution, documentation, and settlement status to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and suitability norms.


Key Skills & Competencies

Functional Skills

  • Understanding of wealth management products: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, PMS/AIFs, and structured products.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret portfolio data and investment performance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and internal portfolio management systems.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in private banking.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Certifications such as NISM, CFA (Level I preferred), or equivalent will be an added advantage.
