Private Emergency Admissions Liaison Nurse Nurse Practitioner

Overview

The Private Emergency Admissions Liaison Nurse role will facilitate the timely and smooth referral assessment and transition of appropriate Private Patient emergency admissions from the public Emergency Department to a private inpatient bed. The role ensures an optimal private patient experience from receipt of a GP referral through the transition from the Emergency Department to a Private inpatient bed and supports the public Emergency Department to deliver on their Western Australian Emergency Access Targets (WEAT).

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following position knowledge skills & capabilities:

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
• Proven sound leadership skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in the public or private acute hospital environment
