POSITION SUMMARY:

The Process Automation Engineer focuses on automation in the boat building industry utilizing both technology and engineering principles to overcome challenging obstacles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports automated equipment troubleshooting.

  • Programs Robotics.

  • Adjusts current models to maintain quality expectations.

  • Programs new models.

  • Participates in new product development.

  • Includes new equipment to support manufacturing.

  • Acts as a liaison between production and automation.

  • Stays current on new processes and technology.

    • EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Degree: Engineering or Mechatronics

  • Experience: Engineering degree with 2-3 years of experience, Technical degree with 3-5 years of experience, Relevant skillset 5-7 years of experience
