Job Title- Process Control Lead

Experience Required - 4–5 Years

Job Summary

The Process Control Lead is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and compliance with standards. The role focuses on process optimization, control systems, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Process Control & Monitoring

· Define, implement, and monitor process control parameters and SOPs

· Ensure process stability, capability, and repeatability across production lines

· Establish control plans, process flow charts, and work instructions

· Process Improvement & Optimization

· Identify process variations, inefficiencies, and quality issues

· Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC

· Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

· Implement productivity, yield, and cycle-time improvement initiatives

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, IPC, Six Sigma, or industry standards)

· Coordinate with QA/QC teams for audits, validations, and inspections

· Reduce rejection, rework, and process deviations

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and SCM teams

· Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation

· Ensure smooth process handover from engineering to production

Team Leadership & Training

· Guide and mentor process engineers, technicians, and operators

· Conduct process training and awareness programs

· Promote standardization and best practices

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain process documentation, change management records, and control plans

· Prepare process performance reports and KPIs for management review

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing and process control methodologies

· Hands-on experience with process monitoring and control systems

· Expertise in root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools

· Understanding of quality systems and compliance requirements

· Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills

· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MES systems

Educational Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial / Chemical)

· Preferred Industry Experience

· Manufacturing / Electronics / Automotive / EMS / Process Industries
