As a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects.
We are looking for a **Process Engineer** passionate about **Artificial Intelligence** and **Machine Learning** to join our R&D team within the Metrology Department.
**Key Responsabilities**
+ Develop and integrate **AI-driven techniques** for **image analysis** , **defect detection** , **data modeling** , and **signal processing** in high-tech applications for the **Photonics Industry** .
+ Design and implement **software solutions** for **machine vision systems** and **vision-based inspection** .
+ Define experimental methods for performance evaluation (e.g., detection precision, algorithm repeatability, reproducibility, sensitivity, failure analysis).
+ Perform **hands-on testing** and debugging with **vision systems** to validate algorithms and ensure reliability.
**What We’re Looking For**
+ **Degree** in ICT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, AI & Automation Engineering, Cybersecurity, Physics, Mathematics, or similar.
+ Strong theoretical background in **machine vision** , **image processing** , or **software development** .
+ Knowledge of **optics** is a plus.
+ Willingness to travel.
+ Programming skills in **C++** , **C#** (other languages are a bonus).
+ Soft skills: autonomy, teamwork, proactivity.
