Process Engineer

Job Purpose:

Plan, design and develop new methods and test new systems to achieve higher production rates and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

▪ Create and update products, component cost, create estimated cost for new tenders, follow up and solve costing problems.

▪ Follow up factory layout situation and create proposals for new projects.

▪ Prepare and follow up technology improvement plan, technology training plan and cost saving plans.

▪ Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output

▪ Manage cost and time constraints on SAP and make cost saving studies to minimize the cost of products.

▪ Perform process simulations and risk assessments

▪ Provide process documentation and operating instructions

▪ Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures

▪ Examine existing processes and suggest improvements

▪ Investigate any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations

▪ Create monthly and weekly reports to increase accuracy and decrease errors and production issues.

▪ Analyze monthly production orders cost variance reports.

▪ Update the manufacturing database to make the updated costing of the product according to the market raw material prices.

▪ Share the layout information and calculate the production needs to achieve the targeted productivity in the new layout.

▪ Study the technology system input, output, bottleneck nodes and the ways to solve them to achieve high performance and efficiency

▪ Assist CPD and CSD to produce product and Spare Parts Catalogues

▪ Fulfill additional tasks as per job needs and as assigned by own supervisor

Requirements

Education and Experience required for the job:

• BSC in Mechanical Engineering Preferable (Power or Production)
• 1– 3 years of experience

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job:

• Very good communication skills
• Fluent English
• Talented in Technical Drawing.
• Technical background in Mechanical Processes such as Welding, Metal Forming. Will be an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Multi task Engineer
• High Skills in Computer Applications Such As "AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel
