About the role
We’re seeking a motivated Process (Production) Engineer to join our Chlor Alkali Team on a permanent full-time basis in Kemerton, WA. This role suits someone early in their engineering career, ideally with a few years of experience, but graduates welcome to apply. You’ll join a high-performing team focused on safe, reliable, and efficient chemical production, with a strong culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the process to identify and rectify any process deviations
- Troubleshoot plant deviations and upsets
- Investigate all process upsets and identify actions to prevent recurrence
- Identify, scope, design, and manage improvements and projects through streamlined management of change processes
- Assist operations, maintenance, and engineering teams as needed
The successful candidate will have
- Relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering, or similar Science
- Positive, can-do attitude with significant initiative
- Willingness and curiosity to learn
- Proven critical thought processes
