Job Description

  • Executes all engineering deliverables of a customer/engineering program.
  • Supports the Cross Functional Team and other central functions by reviewing Customer SOR’s and Technical Specifications received during the quotation process, and provide input regarding the product to be offered.
  • Interfaces with Program Management on the development of customer and program milestones and interfaces with Program Management and Sales groups to agree upon engineering resource levels required to satisfy the SOR, per the APQP process. Measure and implement team metrics and develops and administers work schedules across assigned personnel.
  • Assures implementation and proper usage of engineering tools.
  • Evaluates proposed engineering changes for impact and feasibility, on the product and process prior to incorporation. Performs financial validation of product changes prior to implementation.
