Minara Resources has an opportunity for Entry Level Process Plant Operators who want to kick start their career in the resources industry and gain hands on experience and build a long term career in a supportive, safety focused environment.

Our complex and technically challenging process plant consists of three operating areas: Ore Leach, Refinery and Utilities. As a key member of our production Team, you will be presented with professional development and real career progression opportunities.

Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

The successful candidates will become a member of our hardworking and committed team who are responsible for operating a variety of fixed plant circuits, which will include the following technologies:

  • Ore crushing, milling & screening
  • High Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL)
  • Thickening, neutralisation & briquetting
  • Sulphide precipitation & leaching
  • Solvent extraction & Hydrogen reduction
  • Sulphuric acid & process gas production

Next Steps
  • Interviews will be held in Perth on 11th & 12th February 2026; these will be face to face interviews
  • A day trip to site to meet the team is scheduled for 27th February 2026 and 6th March 2026
  • Successfully candidates must complete a pre employment medical and provide two referees
  • Planned start date onsite: March 2026
