The Tilenga project is a green field project currently under construction in a relatively remote location in the west of Uganda, near Lake Albert. There are particularly sensitive environmental conditions associated with the location of the project, some of which lies within the Murchison Falls National Park and surrounding areas. •The production fluids are challenging, with heavy and waxy oils to be produced from (approximately) 400 wells, contained within 31 remote well pads. These production fluids will be treated in a Central Processing Facility, with 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bwpd produced water treatment capacity. Produced gas will be utilized for fuel gas, along with conversion of the surplus gas to LPG for local markets.
