Job Description

A Talascend client in the Mobile, AL area has a need for a Process Support Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or 2+ years of experience in Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management or Production Planning
  • Proficient in Excel including VBA
  • PowerBI and/or BOBJ experience; comfortable creating SQL queries
  • 2+ years of continuous production environment experience
  • Experience with planning and scheduling tools
  • Programming experience
  • Experience in metals manufacturing
  • Detailed understanding of manufacturing product flow, data flow, manufacturing constraints and objectives in the order life cycle
  • Ability to learn planning and scheduling tools to become subject matter expert
  • Strong accountability ensuring timely delivery of projects
