Process Technician (2nd Shift)

Overview We are seeking a full-time Process Technician (2nd Shift) at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Engineering in current and new manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and production standards are met. Essential Functions Assist Engineers in procurement and/or design of components, equipment fabrication/tooling and process improvements Apply expertise to develop and continuously improve production methods including layout, production flow, tooling and production equipment, material, fabrication, and assembly methods requirements Write rework shop orders, instructions and routings Update and maintain work instructions and implement Engineering change orders Assist manufacturing with the setup, operation and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment Ability to own assigned projects and tasks Coordinate and/or perform preventive maintenance on production equipment Monitor statistical methods to ana...
