Process Technician II

Job Description
This position is part of an eight person Process Development Laser Lab team supporting internal customers with laser cutting needs. The ideal candidate is flexible, eager to learn, and self motivated. The role involves learning 8–10 different laser machines and contributing to both quick turn and long term development projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with a senior technician to learn equipment operation and lab processes.
• Set up and align laser systems and beams.
• Develop and document laser processes, ensuring repeatability through clear technical reporting.
• Support fixture design using basic SolidWorks skills.
• Partner with internal requestors and development teams to understand project needs and define appropriate laser solutions.
• Perform inspection activities to assess cut quality and overall results.
• Operate laser systems extensively, including work on laser welding programs.
