Process Technician

PROCESS TECHNICIAN (Injection Molding) Direct Hire-3rd shift Jeffersonville, IN$25-30/hr.  SUMMARY: The process technician purpose is to ensure the injection molding machines, tooling, materials, and equipment are operating at maximum efficiency, at the recommended set points, with a goal of no unscheduled downtime and zero defects.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Safety first mindset. Ensure all safety features are functioning, such as drop bar and safety switches.
• Maximize uptimes on all machine centers with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.
• Set molds, startup and troubleshoot injection molding process.
• Document all process parameters on documents to the Master Setup Sheets.
• Ensure all process parameters and mold protection settings meet process specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects.
