Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Set up all scheduled production molds and machines, ensuring they are running to rate and defect free.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance on molds that are in production and document any issues.
  • Trouble shoot molding issues and make calculated changes to process parameters to correct the issues without sacrificing cycle time or part quality.
  • Ensure the production floor is clean and all areas are free of clutter and in the assigned state of 5S.
  • Identify production issues, documenting them so they can be addressed before the next production run. This requires communication between Maintenance and Tooling.
  • Clean molds and machine platen. 

    • Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years injection molding or blow molding processing experience.
  • The ability to read production schedules.
  • The ability to train others – ie. Mold Technicians, Mold Setters, and Material Handlers.
