Your impact

As a Process Technician at Boddington, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of our gold processing operation. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, your contribution will support production, recovery, and plant reliability outcomes, while ensuring all work is carried out in line with site procedures, legal requirements, and agreed operating conditions.

As part of our team you will

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain gold processing plant equipment across crushing, grinding, flotation, and recovery circuits.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and respond to plant upsets and process variations in a collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and housekeeping to support safe and reliable plant performance.
  • Support the safe execution of isolations, permits, and shutdown activities.
  • Work closely with supervisors, control room operators, maintenance teams, and peers to achieve shared production goals.
  • Contribute ideas, knowledge, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen team capability and performance.

Prerequisites for your success in the role

  • Current manual C-class driver's licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
  • Experience working in a gold processing plant or similar metallurgical processing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of wet plant operations including crushing, grinding, flotation, CIP, and gold recovery circuits.
  • A strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and procedural discipline.
  • Ability to work a 7/7 rotating day and night shift roster.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
