Process Operator – Day Shift Darra, QLD

$31–$35 per hour + super

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
  • Friday: early finish 
  • An exciting opportunity is available for a Process Operator to join a growing manufacturing business in Darra.

    This is a hands-on role working on production machinery, using moulds and pouring polyurethane to manufacture high-quality components. If you enjoy working with machines, learning new processes, and being part of a supportive team, this role could be for you.

    This position is offered as a 6-month trial, with the intention to move to permanent employment for the right person (including standard probation once permanent).

    What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operating production machinery and moulding equipment
  • Using moulds and pouring polyurethane to create parts
  • Loading materials and setting up machines for production runs
  • Monitoring temperature, timing and quality during production
  • Removing, trimming and finishing completed parts
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure product standards are met
  • Cleaning and basic machine maintenance between runs
  • Following safety procedures and production schedules
  • What We’re Looking For Essential
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or process environment
  • Comfortable working with machinery and hands-on processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Physically fit for manual tasks and standing for long periods
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
  • Highly Regarded
  • Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Process, plastics, rubber, or moulding background
  • Machine operation experience
  • Mechanical aptitude or trade background
