Job Description
**Position Summary:**
The Surface Finishing Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the finishing department including wet processing, painting, masking/unmasking, and part marking activities for aerospace metal fittings. This role ensures quality, safety, and production standards are met, while providing hands-on support, guidance, and training to department personnel.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and coordinate the workflow for wet processing (e.g., chemical processing, anodizing, plating), painting, masking/unmasking, and part marking activities.
+ Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet internal and customer specifications.
+ Provide hands-on support in finishing operations as needed to meet production demands.
+ Train and mentor finishing department personnel in techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
