Procurement Assistant

THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN SG UDANG, MELAKA

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process
• Responsible to implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices
• Source and negotiate with reliable vendors for the best pricing, terms, quality and delivery/service
• Maintain lowest material cost by sourcing for new source, perform cost-down activities and conduct price comparison
• Manage supplier process based on price, quality support capacity and reliability
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
• Perform budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with new & existing key suppliers
• Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreement and contracts with suppliers in support of organization requirements
