Procurement Buyer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage purchasing cycle including sourcing, planning, request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, good receipt and supplier payment request.
• Source, negotiate and secure new parts and materials in accordance with Engineering and Manufacturing requirements with respect to quality, time and cost.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure alighment with KPI (Cost, Delivery, Quality, Service).
• Price analysis, negotiation, and identify cost saving opportunities to maximize profit
• To solve the ad-hoc issues with relavant departments. (eg: invoice discrepancy).
• Plan the delivery of PO in order to maximize the Just-in-Time principles, and meet the CRDD.
• Sensitive to potential problems and effective actions and thorough follow-up carried out to ensure the schedule is not jeopardized.
• Support monthly and quarterly inventory target by managing open purchase orders.
