Category Manager – Marketing Procurement

A major UK organisation is looking for an experienced Marketing Procurement Category Manager to take ownership of a high‑profile portfolio covering media, market research, production, creative and related marketing services.

This is a key role within a mature, well‑established procurement function. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business units and manage relationships with major agency groups, driving value, innovation and commercial performance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading category strategy across core marketing spend areas
  • Managing sourcing activity, negotiations and contract delivery
  • Influencing and challenging senior stakeholders to shape commercial decisions
  • Building strong relationships across a large, complex organisation
  • Driving cost, cash and value improvements in a PE‑backed environment
