Energy Solutions
The Energy Solutions team plays a meaningful role in addressing climate change, leveraging our assets, brands, and customer base to accelerate the rollout of alternative energy offerings. We are committed to reducing our emissions and helping customers navigate the energy transition.
The Procurement Category Specialist – Energy Solutions works with the Procurement team to conduct data analysis, agree on sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, implement and manage contracts, and validate benefits claims aligned with category and portfolio plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team across all categories to deliver agreed activities as set out in category plans or in response to business needs.
- Lead tactical procurement initiatives to deliver value to the business.
- Conduct analysis of spend and supply markets to identify new opportunities to save money, innovate, improve service and reduce risk.
- Leverage experience and subject‑matter knowledge to support the team and deliver outcomes.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor within procurement operations activities.
- Apply change‑management tools and techniques to influence business outcomes.
- Prepare periodic management reporting on the portfolio activities, performance and business plans.
Qualifications
You are an analytical and commercially minded procurement professional with experience in sourcing, negotiations, and contract management. You use data to uncover value opportunities, support strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, and guide decision‑making. Proactive and collaborative, you bring practical insight that helps deliver successful category outcomes.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in sourcing, contract administration, procurement or other relevant analyst roles.
- Knowledge of procurement fundamentals, sourcing and negotiations.
- Experience with contract implementation and management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strengths in data analysis and commercial guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal, economics, finance or a related discipline.
