Skyroot Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Engineer for the SCM function within the Avionics department to manage the strategic sourcing and supply chain of mission-critical avionics components for launch vehicles and rockets. This role ensures reliable, cost-effective procurement of electronic systems vital for space missions, maintaining rigorous aerospace standards and launch timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Qualification
- Source and qualify suppliers for avionics components including PCBs, PCBA, connectors, wiring harnesses, sensors, and RF modules tailored for launch vehicle applications.
- Perform supplier audits, risk assessments, and qualification testing compliant with AS9100 and space-grade standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, and lead times to support high-reliability rocket avionics supply chain.
