Procurement Engineer (Civil/Construction)

Our client is seeking a Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background to manage end-to-end procurement for construction projects—ensuring the right materials, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to site.Key Responsibilities:- Review project BOQs, drawings, and specs to determine material requirements.- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for civil materials (steel, cement, MEP, finishes).- Prepare RFQs, compare bids, and issue purchase orders.- Coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with project schedules.- Inspect materials on-site for quality and compliance.- Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.- Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.
