About the Role – Procurement Engineer (Electrical – Power Plant Projects)

The Procurement Engineer – Electrical is responsible for end-to-end procurement of electrical systems, equipment, and materials for power plant projects. This includes switchgear, transformers, cables, motors, generators, panels, lighting, and ELV systems . The role ensures technical compliance, vendor performance, timely delivery, and cost efficiency , supporting seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and systems for power plant projects
  • Issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate vendors, and finalize commercial and technical offers
  • Maintain approved vendor lists, prequalification processes, and vendor performance records
  • Track POs, delivery schedules, and expedite vendors to ensure timely supply
