Job Description
The Howmet Structural Systems (HSS) Internship Program is strategically designed to provide you with the opportunity to utilize what you have learned in the classroom and the opportunity to participate in meaningful work and gain hands on industry experience. There will be many chances to network with like-minded professionals in manufacturing, industrial engineering, and beyond through cross-departmental collaboration.
HSS is looking for a Procurement Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026 to help work on the Technical Procurement Team. Position will be working closely with Technical Procurement Director to help utilize engineering skills to analyze critical equipment across the Business Unit.
The Procurement Engineering Intern will be responsible for:
+ Work on major equipment component 3D modeling, redesign, and FEA analysis on Hydraulic Forging Presses, Hydraulic Extrusion Presses, and Titanium Rolling Mills across Howmet’s HSS locations.
