Senior Executive – Procurement (Solar EPC)
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Senior Executive – Procurement with 3+ years of experience in procurement activities within the solar EPC domain. The role will focus on vendor management, contract finalization, and procurement of key materials and services required for the successful execution of solar EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of solar EPC components and services , including:
Solar PV modules
Inverters
Mounting structures
Cables (DC & AC)
Transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment
SCADA systems
Civil and electrical works related to solar projects
Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for project requirements.
Prepare and issue RFQs, techno-commercial comparisons, and purchase orders.
Negotiate commercial terms related to pricing, quality, delivery timelines, warranties, and payment terms.
Coordinate closely with engineering, project, and execution teams to ensure procurement aligns with project specifications and timelines.
Track delivery schedules , monitor vendor performance, and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual obligations, and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation, MIS reports, and records for audits and project tracking.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within solar EPC or renewable energy projects.
Strong understanding of solar EPC materials, procurement cycles, and project execution timelines.
Proven ability in vendor management, cost negotiation, and contract handling.
Familiarity with commercial terms, billing processes, and compliance documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office ; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
