Brief about Role:
The Procurement Executive will support the procurement team in backend operations, ensuring smooth purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and documentation management. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, tracking orders, and assisting with procurement analytics to enhance efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support & Documentation:
- Assist the procurement team in day-to-day backend operations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and supplier details.
- Supplier Coordination & Order Tracking:
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies.
- Track order status and update internal stakeholders on delays or issues.
- Support invoice processing and follow up with suppliers for pending documents.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure all procurement data (quotations, POs, invoices) is accurately recorded.
- Assist in generating procurement reports (spend analysis, supplier performance).
- Help analyze procurement trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Compliance & Process Improvement:
- Follow company procurement policies and ensure compliance with approved vendors.
- Suggest improvements to streamline procurement workflows.
Skillset and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Commerce
- 1–3 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support roles
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP, Tally).
- Familiarity with purchase order systems and vendor management.
- Strong communication for supplier follow-ups.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and organizational skills .
