Role: Procurement Executive

Position Summary / Project Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive, Procurement to join our Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily procurement operations, procurement process, managing stakeholder and vendor relationships, and optimising the utilisation of the Ariba system to streamline purchasing operations.

Procurement team supports the company and its stakeholders in its various procurement activities relating to the multi‑faceted digital and IT industry and environment. This includes providing agile, accurate and effective contractual advice with excellence and integrity.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring compliance with policies
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management
  • Stay updated on market trends and changes in the procurement landscape
  • Lead and mentor procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimally a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. (Preferably in Supply Chain/Business Administration/IT/Engineering or a related discipline)
  • Experience in Digital / IT industries, IT architectures, Technical/IT Sales is a plus.
  • An agile, astute and analytical procurement, business and IT oriented mind
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Procurement, Supply Chain management and/or Technology Operations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in eProcurement applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Experience in SAP Ariba, SAP S4/Hana is a plus
