Procurement Executive

Responsibilities

• Analyses and evaluates marine and topside equipment for purchase.
• Negotiates with supplier.
• Reviews purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with project requirements and a time schedule.
• Liaises with project team and external vendors to ensure equipment/parts and materials meet project specifications and budget.
• Manages full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc.).
• Issues and processes purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Expedites orders, monitors and follows up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Proposes recommendations for vendors and evaluates vendor performances.
• Coordinates all warehouse operation matters to ensure all are in good order.
• Resolves discrepancies found on delivered equipment and materials upon receiving.
• Ensures proper gathering and distribution of all records, forms and reports pertaining to receiving, storage, movement and control of equipment/materials.
• Supervises and manages warehouse personnel to ensure task completion in accordance with plans and schedules.

Job Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 5 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of topside equipment is an added advantage.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply (on the job training will be provided).
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, is an added advantage.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
