Material coordinator/logistics

Responsibilities

• Identify project logistics needs and establish necessary strategies, including SAP configuration, warehouse coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Ensure the controlled handling of free issue materials from delivery to utilization.
• Develop responsibility matrices for material release and finalize agreements with freight forwarders.
• Track material balances by type and task to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Conduct material reconciliation at both procurement package and project levels.
• Identify and recommend strategies for handling surplus materials.
• Participate in project closure activities within SAP, such as clearing logistic purchase orders, stock balances, and reservations.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field; relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
