PROCUREMENT MANAGER – Neighbourly Pharmacy
Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Finance and Merchandising teams, supporting the growth and planning of our 300+ acquired pharmacy locations across Canada. While our support offices are in ON, MB, and SK, this role can be located anywhere in Canada.

Location
This role is remote, but may require travel across Canada and occasional office visits as needed by department leaders.
Job Description
Seeking a detail‑oriented, collaborative Procurement Manager to implement and optimize our new Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) system and strengthen vendor relationships. The role focuses on vendor performance management, contract compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive procurement excellence.
Responsibilities
- Vendor/Category Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate vendor and category performance using KPIs, SLAs, and scorecards.
- Contract Review & Compliance: Ensure vendor contracts align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze vendor data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with store procurement, finance, legal, and operations teams to align vendor strategies with business goals.
- Vendor Onboarding & Offboarding: Support onboarding of new vendors and manage transitions, including migrating vendor categories onto the P2P system.
- P2P System Compliance: Monitor internal and external compliance with the P2P system and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the central point of contact for vendors, fostering strong, transparent, and productive relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain analytics.
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or retail sectors (preferred).
- Knowledge of Canadian regulatory and compliance standards (preferred).
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience with P2P systems and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
