We are seeking a Procurement Manager for Process Equipment to lead our procurement efforts in acquiring essential machinery and equipment for our operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality process equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for process equipment.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure best pricing and quality.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Analyze procurement data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality and delivery standards.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in procurement, specifically in process equipment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
