Job Description



  • Execute day-to-day purchasing activities to agreed service levels


  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with policies and approvals


  • Engage with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery and availability


  • Negotiate pricing and standard terms for non-contracted purchases


  • Support vendor management and maintain effective supplier relationships


  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across maintenance, warehousing and finance


  • Ensure compliance with purchasing processes, governance and data integrity


  • Run reports, identify issues and support continuous improvement initiatives



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:



  • 1-3 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role


  • Experience working in mining, resources or industrial environments preferred


  • Exposure to vendor management, pricing discussions and standard T&Cs


  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with internal stakeholders


  • High attention to detail with a focus on compliance and data accuracy


  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment


  • Proactive, team-oriented and keen to develop a career in procurement


  • Experience using SAP
