Position - Discipline Lead - Procurement

Experience - 8 to 15 Years of Experience

Qualification - BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Mechanical

Engineering & Design

Prepare and review technical specifications for pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and gearboxes.

Ensure compliance with API, ASME, and project standards.

Review process data sheets, P&IDs, and coordinate with other disciplines.

Procurement & Vendor Management

Prepare Material Requisitions and conduct technical bid evaluations.

Review vendor drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.

Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery and quality assurance.

Project Execution

Manage engineering deliverables and ensure alignment with project schedules.

Coordinate interface engineering with piping, civil, and electrical teams.

Support proposal and detailed engineering phases.

Installation & Commissioning

Supervise installation, alignment, and commissioning of rotating equipment.

Validate shop and site performance tests.

Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.

Reliability & Maintenance

Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement improvements.

Leadership

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Conduct training sessions on rotating equipment best practices.

Lead the design, selection, and integration of rotating equipment for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project timelines.
