Produce Clerk

Responsibilities:

As a Produce Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our produce department is well-stocked, fresh, and appealing to our customers. Your duties will include:

• Receiving, inspecting, and stocking fresh produce
• Maintaining attractive and organized produce displays
• Ensuring product freshness, rotating stock, and removing expired items
• Assisting customers with locating items and answering inquiries about produce
• Operating scales and accurately weighing produce
• Maintaining a clean and organized produce section
• Assisting with inventory management
• Other duties as assigned to support store operations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset, but not required
• Knowledge of various types of fruits and vegetables is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
