Job Description
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
To supervise all team members in the department.
To be responsible for meeting or exceeding all operational objectives and goals.
To be responsible for the operations and administration requirements of the department.
To be responsible for all areas of human resources within the department.
To ensure outstanding courteous customer service is provided in the department at all times.
To be accountable for the receiving, inspecting and storage of merchandise in the department.
To ensure that all merchandise is being inspected and when excessive spoilage, damage, shrinkage and shortages in inventory are evident that this is communicated to the produce operator or designate and proper action is taken.
