Job Title: Product Design Engineer
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing company based in Stevenage. This role is well suited to someone with experience in consumer products who enjoys taking designs from concept through to production, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop consumer-focused products from initial concept through to manufacture.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
Consider product usability, appearance, materials, and performance throughout the design process.
Work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and project teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
Support prototyping, testing, validation, and design refinement.
